Had a quick lunch here while travelling in Barcelona. Waitress was very kind and recommended what's popular on the menu for us. Highly recommend Yucca fries!!!! Plantains, pulled pork Empanada were also tasty.
Our favorite arepas place in BCN. We’ve gone here like two days in a row, and we go here every time we’re in town. The folks are awesome, quick and really nice. I usually get the Pabellón which has cheese, seasoned shredded beef, black beans and plantains - it’s massive (see picture). The Sifrina, which has shredded chicken and it’s so refreshing. The sauces are addictive, to put it mildly.
Arepas have a good size and most of them are very very good (especially the pabellón). The staff is very very nice! The local is quiet simple and very very small! but it’s good for a quick snack! Note: no heating in winter so it’s a bit uncomfortable to eat with the jacket on The 3 leches cake looks good but not the best I had, it was kissing that “so sweet” feeling it usually gives.
Love the place! My girlfriend is from Venezuela and showed me this place, now I can't think of a world without Tequenos!
These arepas are huge and super tasty! If you visit during the week between 10 and 4, you can get a free drink with your arepa purchase. If you’ve never tried an arepa before, this is definitely a place to give it a shot!
Small eatery with excellent empanadas, my Spanish is sketchy at best but they humored me and spoke English which made it very easy for me to order.
Best vegetarian arepas! Yuka fries were perfect too! 100% recommend as a tourist! Outside seating is so cute and view of the Arc de Triomf!
The staff were so friendly and welcoming! The empanadas were huge and came out fresh off the stove! If you get one with cheese, make sure to do a cheese pull!! So delicious, will definitely come back when we visit Barcelona again! Muchas gracias!
